In ordinary times a class on the history of Boston would present an opportunity for some extensive touring and exploration of the city. To overcome certain obstacles associated with the size of our class and the fact that we are, alas, not living in ordinary times, I will be filmed neighborhood tours with small groups of students and a wonderful production team from CAMD (Jonny Ouk and Hyacinthe Joassainte). We shot tours of Charlestown, East Boston and Deer Island, and the South End and Chinatown.
